PADDOCK FOCUS :

Advanced Techniques

In our advanced techniques Paddock Focus Episode, we go in depth and explain the more complex methods we use to capture racing.

Episode 10 of Paddock Focus is all about the more advanced photography techniques Jamey and Drew use at racing events. If you understand the basics of exposures, shutter speeds and apertures, but you're looking to take your pictures to the next level then this episode is for you.

Capturing slow shutter speed images, back lit images or fast shutter speed shots the basics are fairly easy, but there are a lot of finer details that dictate whether a picture is a portfolio shot or one to delete from the camera and never be seen again. Camera set up, focus modes, settings, even down to how you stand and hold the camera all effect a picture and in this episode Jamey and Drew will reveal how they capture their best pictures.
